Our journal portfolio is designed to reflect the richness and diversity of African scholarship across broad fields that shape society, development, innovation, and knowledge production. These areas of scholarly focus provide a strong foundation for a credible and inclusive Pan-African journal network. While some fields naturally intersect, each one offers a distinct platform for advancing knowledge, strengthening research visibility, and increasing the impact of African scholarship across the continent.
We aim to build the capacity of institutions across Africa to manage academic journals with confidence, quality, and sustainability. Through practical training and ongoing support, we help institutions and individuals to strengthen their editorial processes, develop credible publishing systems, and build sustainable platforms that promote the long-term visibility of African research.
Strong academic journals require more than publication alone. They need a clear publishing identity, strong editorial and ethical standards, greater visibility and discoverability, and the structures needed for long-term recognition and credibility. Through support in areas such as ISSN setup, policy standardisation, indexing readiness, and accreditation preparation, we help journals build a stronger foundation for sustainable scholarly publishing across Africa.
